Turtle Rescue has a total conservation reach of approximately 53 linear kilometers of beach, of which 41 km are permanently monitored during the 2025 season.
Hundreds of thousands of sea turtles, whales, other marine mammals, and more than one million seabirds die every year due to ocean pollution or from ingesting and becoming entangled in marine debris.
Volunteering has an important educational component so participants can learn more about sea turtle conservation and the ecosystems where they live. It is an ideal experience for people who love nature and wish to disconnect from everyday life in a peaceful coastal environment.
