In total we released more than 1700 turtles : 133 Green turtles, 1586 Baula turtles and 121 Carey turtles !

This worked was possible also thanks to the help from Jaguar Rescue Center and the publics forces in Puerto Viejo.

In total more of 3540 eggs were covered to control temperature and
humidity for two months and half.

On the other hand we continued to make clean session :

• With the GVI group, we cleaned the beach of Playa Grande in Cahuita and replanted 20 coco trees.
• With the communities we cleaned the downtown Cahuita and the Tuba creek with the help from Gapfroce Group !

In total we’ve realized 5 beach cleanings with the help of the communities and NGOs (Cahuita Complementary School, GAP FORCE, GVI, Lee Minho).

We also have connected and build an alliance with “Salvemos las Tortuga de Parismina” association.

On same the labels at the entrance and the end of Playa Grande were placed and maintained.

Because we thinks that the education is the priority in our cause, we made an educational talks with the ICADS students.

To finish we would like to thank one more time the organization for the donations.

• 6 thermometers with a special feature that will enable us to measure nests from the inside
• Red lights, very useful for collecting data at night without affecting wildlife
• Hobos, thanks to a biologist partner to help monitor nest temperature.
